Types of Programs
Our unique setting draws the visitor to Santa Cruz.
The best place to be, UC Santa Cruz, is located in the Santa Cruz Mountains and overlooks the Monterey Bay. Our unique setting, offering the ideal location for professional, academic and faith-based programs, naturally draws the visitor to Santa Cruz. Our experienced coordinators are dedicated to providing assistance for all of your conference planning needs by offering a wide variety of services to ensure a successful program.
Adult Programs
Adult groups are housed in student apartments throughout the campus accommodating up to four (4) people, in several combinations of double and single rooms. Each apartment contains a common living room, kitchen, and bathroom. While stoves are not operational for the summer months, refrigerators are left on. There is a telephone line and ethernet connection in each bedroom.
Youth Programs
From academic outreach, leadership training, and many types of sports camps, UC Santa Cruz is committed to youth programs by providing a comfortable and stimulating setting for your summer activities.
Youth programs are typically housed in residences with shared bathrooms on each floor. A variety of classrooms, casual meeting rooms, recreation facilities, and other outdoor settings are available. Our affordable rates include three meals per day in our dining halls.
A minimum of 1 staff to 10 youth is required, and staff must accompany youth on campus at all times. Supervising staff must be at least 21 years of age (Policy Handbook PDF).
