Annie-Marie Becker, Alternative Spring Break Coordinator, will  continue being the ASB Coordinator for 2006.
Sonja Diaz, ChUCK CHALE (Chicanos Latinos Educandose) Intern , will be attending UCDC and working as a UCSC Summer Orientation Leader.
Rebecca Fryant, Jewish Studies Intern, will be attending UCLA’s Clinical Psychology PhD Program in the Fall.
Erika French-Arnold, Chancellor’s Undergraduate Internship Program Intern, accepted a position as marketing coordinator at Cooley Godward Law Firm in Palo Alto.
Ryan Honeyman, Condom Co-op Coordinator Intern, went on to will be intern for Senator John Kerry.
Libby Lok, Asian American/Pacific Islander Program Coordinator Intern, went on to intern with the  Manhatten Neighborhood Network and Third World Newsreel in NYC
Michael Lok, ChUCK- CUSN (Community Unified Student Network) Intern, was accepted into Public Policy and International Affairs (PPIA) Junior Sumer Intstitute at Carnegie Mellon University.
Jennifer Low, Social Justoce and Community Cocurricular Programs Intern, continued working with CODEPINK: Women for Peace and with College 10 Cocurriculat Programs during the following academic year.
Jamie McPike, GIIP Intern, was offered an internship with the Institute for the Future for Science and Technology.
Aimee Phelan, Professions Training Program Coordinator Inter  was hired as an audit associate at the Grant Thorton Accounting Firm.
Mariam Saba, Oakes Community Service Intern , was offered an internship with the Student Volunteer Connection Program.
Takita Salisberry, Diversity Connection Intern, was elected SUA Commissioner of Diversity (2005-2006).
Erica Schoenberg, COSMOS Internship Program Coordinator Intern, was hired to continue working as for the Career Center Internship Program.
Sarah Takahashi, Holistic Health Presentations Coordinator Intern, was accepted into the UCDC program.
Ray Tsay, Queer Communities Intern, was hired to continue working at the Lionel Cantu Center and  went on to work with NGLTF Marriage Equality Field Organizer as an intern.
Katherine Walsh, Service Learning Intern for Colleges Nine and Ten, went to Taiwan on a Fulbright scholarship to teach English as  a second language to elementary aged children.
Kristen Townsend, Good Neighbot Initiative Intern, was hired by  the Seymour Center at Long Marine Lab  to assist with the Oceans Explorers Summer Camp Program.
Anthony Tucci, Good Neighbor Initiative Intern, went on to intern at the Office of United States Senator Dianne Feinstein.
2003-2004
Erin McCabe, Professions Training Program Coordinator, was awarded an internship at Grant Thornton Accounting Firm and hired by the firm beginning June 2005.
Lakeya Cherry, Social Justice & Community Academic Programs Coordinator for College Ten, was accepted into three law schools for Fall 2004.
Tunisha Singleton, KZSC Diversity Outreach Coordinator, was awarded an internship with Warner Bros. for Summer 2004.
Elizabeth Milne-Kahn, Oakes Community Service Intern, was hired by Santa Cruz County Alternative High Schools as a teacher’s aid for the Dance and Theater After-School Program.
Robert Guzman, Service Learning Intern, pursued a Masters in International Service at the University of Technology, Jamaica & University of Roehampton, London.
Tamara Hom, Asian American/ Pacific Islander  Program Coordinator, became a High School Tutoring Coordinator for the Richmond Village Beacon in San Francisco.
Jenny Hernandez, CUIP Coordinator, was hired by the Career Center for 2004-2005.  She was acepted to graduate school in psychology  in 2005.
Tony Laidig, Campus and Community Planning Intern, ws hired by GIS as a lab assistant.
Kanani Arakaki, Ombudsman’s Office Problem Solving  Intern, went on to study abroad at Carlos III University in Madrid with EAP.
Stephanie David, SOAR Diversity Connection Intern, recieved a volunteer position as the Engaging Education class facilitator and was hired by the Theater Arts Department as a technician.
Sarah Levar, Hate/Bias Peer Response Team Coordinator, was hired by UCSC as the Hate/Bias Education Coordinator through graduation in 2005.
Etienne Marcoux, KZSC Volunteer Coordinator, was hired by KZSC as the Music Director.
Macy Torres, ChUCK - KAMP Coordinator, was elected external co-chair of the Filipino Students Association of UCSC for 2004-2005.
Adam Thompson, GIIP Coordinator, was hired as a consultant for the Democracy Forum in Nairobi, Kenya, Suenos Academy, GIIP etc.
Katherine Lamb, Condom Co-op Coordinator, went on to participate in Americorp.
Nikki Mueller, University Leadership Intern, was hired as artistry director at the Cal Shakespeare Theater in Berkeley for the summer of 2004.  She was subsiquently hired in 2005 by Shakespear Santa Cruz for a full-time position.
Cole Akers, Creative Writing Intern, hired as City Lights Bookstore Editorial Intern in 2004 based upon connections  made during his internship.
Kory Rapanut, SOAR Queer Communities Intern, was hired as an instructional aide for a special education class in Santa Barbara.  He plans to pursue a teaching cridential.
2002-2003
Irina Berkon, International Living Center (ILC) Intern, continued to work with the ILC.
Blas “Jacob” Cabrera, Natural Reserves Intern, was elected Internal Vice Chair for the SUA and help positions as Sustainability Advisor for the  Student Environment Center, and Staff Advisor  to the California Student Sustainability Coalition.
Kathryn Cornwall, Hate Bias Response Team Intern, was working as a coverage specialist for Mercury Insurance and applying for a Hate Bias position at a local community college as of 2004.
Laura Ellis, Creative Writing Intern, will attend Texas State University for a MFA program in creative writing with a teaching position.
Lindsey Hemrick, Condom Coop Coordinator, was accepted to the EAP program at University of Manchester in England for 2003-2004. 
Nicholas Javier, SOAR Diversity Outreach Intern, hired by UCSC E2 program.
Eden Jequinto, SOAR Diversity  Outreach Intern,  pursued a related career providing theater workshops for kids in Bay Area.
Merrill Kruger, Landscape Management Intern, secured a position in living systems land management as an Ecosystem Consultant and Educator.
Tania Lee, SOAR Retention CUSN Intern, went on to do an internship with the Asian Law Caucus and work at a startup company in San Francisco.
Teresa Morales, STARS Intern, is an Outreach/Marketing Coordinator.
Victoria Paal, International/Global Perspectives Academic Intern, secured an internship at the American Institute of Tiwan.
Shelby Polakoff, CUIP Program Intern, is applying to Columbia University Publishing Institute for Summer 2004.
Beth Rees, Queer Student Organizations Intern, was hired by the UCSC Women’s Center as the Program Coordinator.
Angela Rosales, SOAR Retention (KAMP) Intern, was elected as an SUA Officer.
Justine Wolitzer, KZSC Volunteer Coordinator, was selected as KZSC Station Manager for 2003-2004.
Meaghan Shanahan, HIV Testing Coordinator, was hired by the Santa Cruz County Needle Exchange Program, and is applying to Medical School.
Mary Jane Skjellerup, GIIP Coordinator, was hired into a full-time management position by GIIP when she graduated.  As of Fall 2004, Mary Jane was working at Digital Club House, a Non-Governmental Organization documenting social issues and raising awareness.
Matthew Waxman, Campus and Community Planning Intern, funded the Student Involvement Group for LRDP in 2004, served on numerous campus committees, received the Platnum Volunteer Service Award in 2005 and worked as New Media Research Assistant.
Justine Wolitzer, KZSC Volunteer Coordinator, was selected as KZSC Station Manager for 2003-2004.
Morgan Wyenn, Recycling Program Intern, was hired by her mentor to continue working through the summer of 2003.
Gerardo Palafox, Oakes Serve Intern, was accepted in to the UCSC Masters in Education and Teaching Credential Program for 2003-2004.
2001-2002
Brandie Don, KZSC Volunteer Coordinator, became Director of Fund Development for Golden Gate Biographies.
Laurie Hauf, Special Internships Program (SIP) Intern, was hired by Career Center Internship Program to run the COSMOS Internship Program 2002-2004.  She participated in UCDC in 2003. She is working for a law firm in San Diego and plans to attend Law Scho
Charlene Lo, Community Service Intern, was hired manage the Student Volunteer Connection through Graduation.
Lee Moranto, SOAR Programs Intern was hired by SOAR as a temporary Program Manager in 2002 and rehired in a permanent position in 2004.
Mark Ng, Community Playground Intern,  participated in the UCDC Program and now works for the USDA Forest Services.
Athena Osborn, Porter Leadership Intern, was hired as Residential Adviser at Porter.
Amber Ouye-Cavala, SOAR Outreach Intern, went on to Teach in Japan through the JET Program.
Donald Riley, Arts and Lectures Outreach and Marketing Intern, went on to- run group empowerment, relaxation, movement sessions at 7th Avenue Psychiatric Center.  He simultaniously worked as a consultant with Choice Music Entertainment.
Elizabeth Soong, SOAR Retention Intern, accepted an advisor position at a middle school in Los Angeles.
Melissa Mercurio, Student Health Center Intern, became a research assistant SC Biotech, and pursued an advanced degree at UC Davis in Forensic Science.
Niketa Calame, SOAR Outreach Intern, was accepted into American Musical Dramatic Academy.
Emily Lessard, Sesnon Gallery Manager Intern, was accepted into Yale Graduate Program, Graphic Design.
2000-2001
Lola Aleru, SOAR Retention Intern, was hired by the Society for the Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS)
Atia Mangwi, the NcNair Intern,  was hired as a UCSC Academic Advisor.
Rheana (Juno) Parrenas, Queer Programs Intern, pursued an MA in Social Science at Universiteit van Amersterdam.  She was a program specialist in a multinational company in Germany from 2002-2004. As of 2005, she is pursuing a PHD at Harvard University. 
Dolly Del Pinal, McNair Intern, won a Leadership Opportunity Award Scholarship.
Akinder Gil, Educational Partnership Center Intern, pursued a Masters Degree and began teaching at  UCLA.
Mana Hayakawa, EPC Intern, was a CJAAA scholarship recipient.
Daniel Jackson, Educational Partnership Center (EPC) Intern, was hired as a counselor by EPC after the internship.  As of 2005 he was accepted to graduate school at NYU in psychology.
Katerina Lanfranko, ArtsBridge Intern, was hired by ArtsBridge to continue working with the program. As of 2005, she is finishing graduate school and her art is being shown internationally.
Deborah Lao, SOAR Outreach Intern, went on to participate in the UCDC program and work for the San Francisco Mayor’s Office.  As of 2005 she was working in San Francisco at a small communications firm on strategic communication, community outreach.
Kimi Mojica, SOAR Outreach Intern, was hired as a SOAR Advisor and later became Director of Diversity at the University of Oregon.
Chelsea Ransom, Educational Partnership Center Intern,  worked as Site Coordinator for the on-campus Barrios Unidos/UCSC Links after-school program year,  pursued the MA Teaching program planned to teach primary-grades in Boulder, Colorado.
Tiffany Hung, SOAR Web/Technology Intern, pursued a graduate degree in Art.
1999-2000
Megan Murphy, Theater Arts Student Production Liaison, became a  graduate student and TA in the Theater Department at UCSC.  she has also been Office manager for Crossrads Home Care and Hospice and  Roadshow Campaign Coordinator for Howler products, organ
Melissa Barthelemy, SOAR Programs intern, was accepted to Golden Gate University Law School for Fall of 2003.
Jeremy Boutista, SOAR Outreach Intern, pursued a career producing and directing plays, working with youth, counseling, and helpingwith college prep for high school students.
Jessie Rose DeRooy, KZSC Volunteer Coordinator, continued to work with KZSC assisting in the summer transition for radio station staff and volunteers.
Arinn Filer, SOAR retention intern, founded UMOJA , a retention program for African American students and recieved the alumni college service award. 
Robert Gramacy, Engineering Recruitment and Retention Intern, graduated with Honors in Mathematics, and  with Highest Honors in Computer Science. He  is pursuing a PHD in Applied Mathematics and Statistics (AMS)  at UCSC. Robert worked as a Research Assis
Christopher Lee, MBEC Intern, worked at Cisco Systems then returned to UCSC as the campus' Evaluations Support Coordinator and later moved on to pursue an MA program in Counseling Psychology  at Naropa University.
Kenneth Songco, SOAR Retention Intern, participated in the Tagalog Study Abroad Program and pursued a career as a High School Counselor. 
1998-1999
Rosalie Hackett, Arboreum Intern, was hired as a program assistant for Stanford Department of Earth Sciences.
John Hardisty, Campus Leadership Program intern was hired to assist with the program for the1999-2000 academic year.
Riquelen Manlucu, Career Center Special Internships Program Intern, was hired as management assistant for the program. After graduation, she worked in Social Services in Southern California.
April Miller, Merrill Education Intern,  who managing the Merrill/Live Oak School partnership was hired to run the program for the 1999-2000 academic year.
Krishna Roskin, School of Engineering MESA Intern, received Huffman Prize in 2001.
Talin Tascian, KZSC Volunteer Coordinator, was hired to handle communications as a staff member for a Southern California Congress member.
Denise Brunson recieved a Karl S. Pister leadership opputunity program scholarship.
1997-1998
Danielle Berman,  Natural Reserve Intern, graduated with honors in environmental studies, Phi Beta Kappa. Employed at graduation by an environmental and ecology research group in Pennsylvania, she was part of a staff exchange with Russian colleagues, then
Miguel A. Canales, Professions Training Program Coordinator, went on to become  a high school teacher and track coach working with Los Angeles street youth after receiving a masters degree at Claremont McKenna.
Corin Choppin, SOAR Programs Intern, went on to be a political consultant, in Sacramento, managing political campaigns for counsil members, school boards, and  local ballot measures.
Dana Kawaoka, Oakes Student Retention Intern, has received some publicity as an activist artist. She is one of the co-founders of NOSEI, a grass-roots Japanese American activist organization based in the SF Bay Area.
Jessica Lizar, Monterey Bay Education Consortium (MBEC) Intern, was directly hired and played a significant role in opening the UCSC Education Partnership Center.  She continued to contribute in the field of education as a teacher leader for the California Reading and Literature Project working on z research study with her mentor Carrol Moran during Summer of 2004.
Erica Ocegueda, SOAR CHALE Intern, went on to pursue a n advanced degree at University of Albacurque.
Chrisine Padilla, KZSC Diversity Coordinator, was hired as promotions and special events manager for a San Francisco based record company.
Edenilson Quintanilla, Accounts Receivable intern, was hired in 2001 as the Youth Outreach Coordinator for the Resource Center for Non Violence in Santa Cruz.
Jon Sivell, Student Theater Production Liaison intern, became a consultant at Fisher Dachs Associate (FDA) a well regarded theater design company working on a half dozen major FDA projects, including the new three-theatre Guthrie on the River complex in Minneapolis; Newton Auditorium at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts; Nashville Symphony Concert Hall; Institute of Contemporary Arts, Boston; Madison Theatre at Santa Monica College, and a new 2,000-seat opera house for the Canadian Opera Company in Toronto.
Christine Villegas, KZSC Volunteer Coordinator, received a Masters Degree in Urban Planning at USC, gained five years of city planning experience and more recently began working for the Democratic National Convention Committee.  The DNCC hired her to remodel the interior of the Staples Center and the Convention Center in Los Angeles in 2000, and do the same in Boston in 2004.
Lena Garcia, Monterey Bay Educational Consortium Intern, attended UCLA's MA Teaching program afterwhich she taught primary grades at Moffet Elementary in Los Angeles. 
Eric Jacobson, SOAR Computer Resources intern, was hired as a student worker at SOAR 98-99 and became a resource specialist for a number of units.  He was later hired by  Filemaker as a software engineer working on internet technologies.
1996-1997
Peter Dorman, MESA Intern, received a Batchelors of Science in Engineering from UC Berkeley.
Melinda Foley, Natural Reserves Intern, performed nationally and internationally  in spoken word performance poetry.  In 2001 she won  a major national competition in Chicago which was covered by 60 Minutes, The Washington Post and The New York Times.
Marni Rapoport, the Recycling Intern, became one of the leaders of the Yale School of Management Energy Student Interest Group.
Markela Soward, Stevenson Diversity Inter, became a financial analyst with S & P.
Julene Taylor, Kresge Transfer Outreach Intern, was hired as an academic preceptor at Kresge College.
Alison Trybom, Natural Reserves intern, worked as an Environmental Planner for several years in the Bay Area.  In 2003 she returned to  UCSC to work in the Chancellor’s Office.
Nathan Perea, Housing Facilities Development Intern, attended Lewis and Clark Law School.
1995-1996
Georgia Lampros, Academic and Student Affairs Editor Intern, got a teaching position with  the San Bruno Park School District.
Christine Villegas, KZSC Volunteer Coordinator, received a Masters Degree in Urban Planning at USC, gained five years of city planning experience and more recently began working for the Democratic National Convention Committee.  The DNCC hired her to remodel the interior of the Staples Center and the Convention Center in Los Angeles in 2000, and do the same in Boston in 2004.
Katrina Nazzal worked on color correction for the film American Exile.
Chrystal Hernandez, Student Center Intern, pursued a career as  a probation officer.
Robert Teranishi, Hahn Student Services Intern, became an Assistant Professor at NYU.
Scott Robinson, Theater Arts Intern, became an information architect.
1994-1995
Michael Jackson, Total Quality Management Intern, pursued a career as a consultant an entrepreneur.  In 2005 he reported that he  was in the middle of starting two businesses and would get back to us when he had more time.
Bjorn Foster, Campus Facilities Intern, went into business as co-founder and technical principal for Primatial Design a San Francioso based web design company.
Jeanine Scaramozzino, Campus Facilities Intern, went on to become a Librarian at Stanford University in the Harold A. Miller Library at
Hopkins Marine Station.
Payson Lederman, Computing and Telecommunications Intern, became an attorney.  He also volunteers for the Constitutional Rights Foundation, a non-profit educational organization to empower youth.
Sandra Tanamugsukbovon, Community Studies Intern, was selected Porter Student of the Year.
Trudi Bloom (previously Trudi King), Environmental Health and Safety Intern,  was a medical education specialist for a pharmasudical company  as of March 2005.
Frank Wheeler, Fire Department Intern, went on to serve as a student representative and chair of the Campus Transportation Committee and later became a transportation planner.
Fiona Schneider Diaz, Long Marine Lab Intern, became a Project Manager at the Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authroity.
Lisa Dorin, Sesnon Gallery Outreach Coordinator, received a Masters Degree in Art History at Williams College in 2000.   She went on to becomeAssistant Curator at Williams College Museum of Art.
Professions Training Program (PTP) 1997-2005
2004-2005
Ilene Gonzalez, Women's Heallth Center Leadership Intern, plans to attend the USC School of Pharmacy and earn a Doctorate of Pharmacy.
Quenby Kelmer continued her internship with Tandy Beal and Company into the next academic year.
Lisa Cook was offered a continuing position with Pacific Collegate Schools.  She plans to pursue a career in Federal Child Protective Services.
Monica Hebenstreit, Willow Pond Horse Ranch Intern, plans to work for Global Resource Alliance, a non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of AIDS orphans and other community members in the Mara Region of Tanzania, Africa.
Nicholas Siegel, Terra Pacifica School Intern, plans to work for a nonprofit in the future and is most interested in becoming a grant writer.
Erasmo San Juan, Special Projects Intern for Project Scout and Seniors Council, plans an active career in social work and public policy.
2003-2004

Sheena Bautista, Akua Hana Outrigger Canoe Club Intern and Development Intern for the PTP Program, was selected to participate in the UC Center in Sacramento Program for Spring of 2004 where she interned with the California Institute for County Government.
2002-2003
Daniel Burkhart, Project Scout Intern, was accepted into UCLA Undergraduate Program in Political Science.
Marcia Winslade, California Certified Organic Farmers Intern was hired as Intern with the Sierra Club and was a  Donald A. Strauss Achievement Scholarship winner.
2001-2002
Kerry Brown, Bike to Work Intern, was hired by South East Alaska Conservation Council (40 out of 400 hired.) In 2004-05 she worked for United Way and mentored an intern for the PTP/SEG program.
Nikki Duplessis, Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Prevention Intern was interviewed for a Pharmaceutical Sales Position with Abbott Laboratories.
Andres Fimbres, Resource Center for Non Violence (2001-02)- Hired as a Bilingual Teacher in San Bernardino County
LaTrice Jones, who participated in the program as SUA Chair, was hired as a research assistant for Engaging Education a new retention project at UCSC funded by student referendum.
Leo Grandison, who participated in the program as an SUA  Officer , was hired as Organizing Director for the University of California Student Association.
2000-2001
Jessian Choy, Environmental  Studies Intern, founded the Environmental Center at UCSC and received the 2002 Brower youth award for work on campus .
Jessica Brice, Gateway Community and Business Coalition (2000-01)- Hired by Associated Press
Dovi Wilensky, Gateway Business and Community Coalition Intern won an international research award at UCSC in Spring 2001.
1998-1999
Kameron Gad, New Leaf Intern, was an Irwin award winner for 2000.
Emily Murai, Public Defender’s Office intern, recieved the Deans Undergraduate Achievement Award in the Social Sciences and went on to work as accounting and personnel director at Mission Houses Museum in Honolulu.
Sarah Seitchik, New Leaf Community Markets Intern, became Coordinator and Assistant Director for the Excel Cuba program.
1997-1998
Soren Gordharner, Community Foundation Intern, is author of a variety of books on mediation, mentorship, and connecting with today’s youth.
University of California Center in Sacramento  2003-2005
2004-2005
Tory Francisco, UCCS Fall 2004 intern with Joint Legeslative Audit Committee, was accepted to the UCDC program for Winter 2005. In July 2005 he was employed at the National Gulf War Resource Center in Washington DC.
Sydney Comins, UCCS Winter 2005, was accepted to the UCDC program in Spring 2005.
Julie Godinez, UCCS Winter 2005 interned with Assemblywoman Carol Lui, Democratic Legislative Women’s Caucus.  As of July 2005, Julie was working as a Congessional Aide with Congressman Sam Farr.  She has also joined local government boards with the City of Watsonville.
Noah A. Fullerton, UCCS program Spring 2005 was selected to continue with UCCS for the summer 2005 program.
Clint Holtzen, UCCS Spring 2005 intern with California Conservation Corps, accepted a full time job with the California Conservation Corps.
2003-04
Erin Dendorfer, who interned with the California State Assembly Committee on Environmental Safety and Toxic Materials and worked with John Laird, Assembly Member from Santa Cruz, who chaired the committee, went on to intern with the UCDC program in Spring of 2004.
