The conflict/resolution workshop was to my surprise very fun and more important than I expected. "Katrina Cope was one of the most influential speakers I remember.  She gave me the tools and tips needed to put my best foot forward using my resume and cover letter. I felt so much more confident in my resume writing skills that I resubmitted a few resumes that I had sent out. I received two more responses than I had before. It gave me courage that I could write a good resume, and showed me what I had been doing wrong before. May 27th a day of reflection. "What was of most benefit to me was the better access to the UCCS program. Without this class, I wouldn't have known very much about it, let alone applied for the program.  With the instructors' help, I was able to secure an intern position, and will spend the winter quarter in Sacramento.  This class has been invaluable. Through our in-class exercises, I learned that calm communication is absolutely necessary to resolving conflicts.
