Become a Partner for Progress! Our Partner for Progress Program is comprised of organizations that make a significant financial contribution in support of the UC Santa Cruz Career Center. Employer contributions enable us to provide innovative programs and services to UCSC students while increasing visibility for our Partner for Progress members.

Employer donations have played an important role in building and sustaining services essential to our success. Developing strong relationships with employers and serving as the bridge between the community and the campus is an important part of the Career Center’s mission. Your annual donation will be recognized through a variety of public and campus-specific advertisements. There are three levels of participation: Platinum, Gold and Silver, each of which offer you many valuable benefits.

Partner Benefits
We invite your business or corporation to participate at one of the following partnership levels:

Platinum Level Partnership: $3,000 and up

  • Includes all the services listed in the gold level partnership.
  • In addition, your partnership will receive customized services designed and tailored to meet the needs of your business.

    Gold Level Partnership: $2,500
  • Complimentary participation in one career fair event with two six foot tables, prime location, and ability to display large company banner
  • Your company recruitment activities and on-campus interview dates highlighted on the SlugQuest home page
  • Customized email blasts and fliers to promote your company's on-campus recruitment events
  • Thirty-five complimentary full-day parking passes
  • Special VIP guest at the Career Center Open House event
  • Your company's logo displayed on large banner at all major Career Center events
  • Your company name and hyperlink on the Career Center website
  • Free participation as the "Employer(s) of the Week"
  • Acknowledgement and your company's logo in Career Center publications and banner
  • Preferred participation in Career Center special events
  • Free visibility table in the Quarry Plaza at your request (twice per quarter)
  • Free access to Bay Tree Conference rooms for OCI and Information Sessions

Silver Level Partnership: $2,000

  • Complimentary participation in one career fair event with one six foot table, prime location, and ability to display large company banner
  • Your company recruitment activities advertised via SlugQuest and student portal
  • Customized email blasts and fliers to promote your company's on-campus recruitment events
  • Free access to Bay Tree Conference rooms for OCI
  • Twenty complimentary full-day parking passes
  • Free participation in the Career Center annual “Open House” event
  • Your company's name & logo displayed on large banner at all major Career Center events
  • Your company name and hyperlink on Career Center website
  • Preferred participation in Career Center special events
  • Free visibility table in the Quarry Plaza once per quarter

Employers are invited to join the Partners for Progress Program on an annual basis during our spring campaign. Memberships are welcome after the recruitment campaign; however, benefits expire on an annual basis on June 30. To ensure quality and service and maximize branding on campus, the number of companies accepted into the Partners Program is limited.

Additional Service To Enhance Your Recruitment Needs

Employer of the Week:

Increase your organizations visibility to UC Santa Cruz students by participating in the Career Center’s “Employer of the Week Program.” The Employer of the Week Program allows employers to target recruiting information to UCSC students within the academic year. As a participant in the program your company will be exclusively highlighted for one week.
Special features of the program include:

  • Company profile and logo featured on the Career Center home page
  • Company featured with a full page ad on the Career Center computer monitors
  • Company profile available to student for one year on the Career Center website
  • One direct email to student population advertising company opportunities
  • Coordinated information session during your featured week
  • Employer of the Week table in the Bay Tree Quarry Plaza

The Career Center will coordinate your entire Employer of the Week and create your Employer Profile for you, using the text and the logo you provide. The cost is $300 and limited to 4 employers per quarter.
