What is the ARCenter?

The ARC, ARCenter, or the Academic Reources Center, is the physical building on campus which houses EOP, STARS, Student Volunteer Center, and Learning Support Services. When the building was formally introduced back in 1989, it was known then as the Student Center, UCSC's Student Union. In early 2001-2002, it was decided that the Student Union would move into the Redwood Building that used to be the old BayTree Bookstore, and EOP, Learning Support Services, and STARS would move into the old Student Center space.

How do I get to the ARCenter?

EOP, STARS, Learning Support Services, and the Student Volunteer Connection are located at the Academic Resources Center (ARCenter), which is between McHenry Library and the Music Center.

EOP is located in Rm. 121, which is adjacent to the street. The Learning Support Services is located directly above EOP, in Rm. 221.

STARS is located in Rm. 216A, which is above the ARCafe and furthest away from the street.

The Disability Resource Center (DRC) is located at 146 Hahn Student Services, accessible from the Hahn South entrance (the entrance next to the elevator).
