Dual Career Service

In 2000, UCSC established the Dual Career Service for dual-career couples. UC Santa Cruz recognizes that considerations about seeking, accepting, and maintaining employment often involve decisions concerning two careers. This program was created to respond to this need and provides assistance and support during the employment searches of the spouse/partner of candidates and appointees for ladder rank faculty and senior management positions.

The recruiting department or the individual candidate should make contact with the Dual Career Service Coordinator to initiate the process. The Coordinator may be contacted through the Intake Form or via phone/email.
