Lecturer Pool
The Film and Digital Media Department at the University of California, Santa Cruz invites applications for an on-going pool of qualified temporary instructors to teach full-time or part-time in the area of film, video and digital media. Outstanding candidates with experience to teach in any specialty in film, television, video, new media and digital media (including history, critical studies, and production) are encouraged to apply.
RANK: Lecturer
SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience. Estimate range of $4,301 to $5,450 per course.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Film, video and digital media production: M.F.A. or equivalent professional experience; history/critical studies: Ph.D. or equivalent professional experience; demonstrated potential for university teaching plus recommendations from qualified and recognized authorities in applicant's field. Prior university-level teaching experience preferred.
