Re: 2007-08 Salary Scales

Dear Colleagues:

The Academic Salary Scales for 2007-08 have been issued, with pay rates effective October 1, 2007. Salary adjustments will be reflected in the December pay check, retroactive to October 1. The new salary scales are now available online. Please note that no academic appointee may be paid less than the published rate for the rank and step on the relevant salary scale.

The 2007 adjustments to the salary scales are complex due to the many factors involved in the ongoing efforts to bring UC's salary scales back to competitive levels. The attached document provides a summary of the adjustments applied to the different academic titles.
